Edmond Henri Becker #4812 - Wax Seal - Ca 1900

Gilded bronze wax seal with subtile applied patina in red and green of a little girl caressing a Pierrot doll.

The endearing manner in holding the doll shows a great empathy for the emotions of a young child.
The refining of the chiseling work and the sharp details prove that Becker loved his material and had a deep affinity for his subjects, often seen at medalists.

Fully marked with signature and foundry mark of Suss Frères Paris.

No engraving on the seal part, so never been used. Height 10 cm.
