Jean Barol (1873-1966) founded after his period working for the Factory of Clement Massier together with three pottery friends the studio BACS: Marius Alexandre (1880-1959), Jean Carle and François Sicard.
The studio was situated in Golfe Juan, France and specialized in metallic luster glazes applied on vases, chargers, plaques, garden pieces and other decorative items.
