There is not much information about Maurice Mouton (Chartres 1878-1909), son of ceramist Henri Mouton who exhibited in the 1889 Exposition Universelle.
He specialized in decorative grès in the early 1900, s. Only known is his panther he made for Paul Jouve, that was ordered by Siegfried Bings Art Nouveau gallery in 1903.
