René Denert initially took up experience at the atelier of Jean Gaziello in Golfe Juan, later at Albert Bouvier in Vierzon, where he founded his own atelier designing most of the products personally.
In 1911 he began a partnership with René-Louis Balichon, actually being the administrator of the firm.
The early works were of typical Art Nouveau form, sometimes splendidly organic in grès that were marked "Denert & Balichon" ( 1910-1911).
After 1911-1912 the products in faience and grès were signed Denbac.
Although already fully in the Art Deco priod the vases and vessels were of typical Art Nouveau forms.
