Daum #6335 - Pensées - Ca 1898
Very elegant small vase, known as "Vase parlant", made by Daum Frères around 1898 in "frosted" opaline glass with etched and enameled decoration of a five-petaled violet (Pensée) with the text in gold enamel:
"N'y trop n'y trop peu", which means "Not too much, not too little".
Signature in gold enamel Daum Nancy with a Lorraine cross. Height 12 cm.
