Camille Fauré #3316 - Pavots Stylisés (Papaverbloemen) - ca. 1930


Very well executed vase by Camille Fauré, Limoges decorated with stylized poppy flowers on a dark background, conceived around 1930.
The way the flowers are painted in enamel evoques an opium dream, logic, regarding the subject of the decoration.
Brass vase covered with silver and than provided with a thick enamel layer.
Original sticker with description on the base, which also mentions the model name "Yvonne".
Signed in enamel: C. Fauré, Limoges, France.
