Alfred Jacot-Guillarmod #6518 - Jewelry Box - Ca 1905

A very rare Art Nouveau jewelry box in gilded and patinated silver, featuring a Symbolist depiction of a nymph

surrounded by water lilies and bulrushes.

The box rests on feet shaped like fish.

Guillarmod was an engraver and medalist

based in Geneva who created a few

high-quality pieces of jewelry around 1900,

including a necklace featuring a similar

design, which is held in the British Museum.
