Alfred Daguet #6015 - Rising Sun - 1904

Jewelry box by Alfred Daguet, made at Siegfried Bing's Galerie L'Art Nouveau, featuring a repoussé image of a flying eagle and duck against a rising sun. While most of Daguet's artworks feature lavishly colored cabochons, here a single, small black cabochon is subtly applied as the eagle's eye.

A work of exceptionally high quality for Daguet, it also bears the hand-stamped signature "A. Daguet 1904."
Dimensions: 7 cm x 23.5 cm x 25 cm. Comes with the original key.
