Very rare grès Art Nouveau vase by René Denert around 1910 with a raised decoration of swimming carps.
The vase is an early work by the firm Denbac in Vierzon and bears the seldom seen signature Denert & Balichon.
The vase has a splendid organic form and the swimming carps are emphasized by spare glaze details.
