Daum #5250 - Vase "Columbine" (Accolay) - Ca 1905

Exceptionally beautifully made vase by Verreries Daum, Nancy with etched and enamelled decor of Columbine flowers and leaves.
The decoration is etched with the greatest precision and each flower was painted in great detail and with extreme accuracy, with a lively depth effect.
The yellow embedded glass powders provide a sharp contrast, with the dark embedded powders evoking the ground with the leaves.
With this colorful nature scene, this vase shows the love for the flower and plant world that is so characteristic of the Art Nouveau glass art by Daum and Gallé.
Etched signature Daum, Nancy with Lorraine cross.
Height 24 cm.
