Paul Dachsel was from 1892 to 1903 active as modeller at the factory Riessner Stellmacher und Kessel, in Turn, Tepliz, Austria, also known as "The House of Amphora"..
He was married with Mathilde, the daughter of Alfred Stellmacher, one of the partners of the factory. In 1904 he founded the house "Kunstkeramik Paul Dachsel", and after the closure in 1910 he probably went to Ernst Wahliss.
